Position Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work with other engineers, developers, architects, QA, system engineers and product managers in solving new and existing technical issues
- Understand requirements, implement designs, provide administration tools and documentation for specific projects
- Develop in C# environment, developing web applications, WCF, and web services
- Perform regular on-call duties
- Participate in Design and Code Reviews
- Follow and enhance existing development processes
- Measure and verify that new and old code has acceptable performance and scalability
- Maintain ownership of the projects assigned
- Consistently meet project deadlines

- Three (3) to five (5) years of .NET and Object Oriented programming experience
- Four (4) plus years of experience in general software development methodologies
- Two (2) years of direct experience in .NET and SQL Server
- Strong experience in building ASP.NET applications
- Strong understanding of IIS/Webservice/XML/XSL
- Experience with .Net 2.0/3.0/3.5 framework and C# required
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and WCF preferred
- Experience with CSLA.Net framwork, BixTalk, and AJAX a plus
- Strong experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle including design and testing
- Ability to understand and start projects quickly
- Team-oriented experience highly desired
- Superb attention to detail
- Very good oral and written communication skills regardless of audience

Systems Engineer
Description:

The Systems Engineer plays a critical role in the design, implementation and administration of our systems. The Systems Engineer's role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Systems Engineer's will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of the IT systems investments.


Basic Qualifications:

* BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical subject or a minimum of 2+ years of related work experience
* 2+ years experience performing Server Systems design, implementation and administration
* 2+ or more years experience analyzing system failures to minimize outages and interruptions
* 2+ or more years experience working with server class hardware
* Technical Certifications (MCP, MCSE etc.)
* Scripting Experience (.Net, Javascript, Powershell etc.)

Desired Skills:

* Install, configure and maintain server operating systems
* Install, configure and maintain varied applications on systems
* Working knowledge of SAN, clustering, backup and other enterprise applications to maintain availability and recoverability of systems
* Manage and troubleshoot OS and applications using OS-based, resource kit, and 3rd-party tools
* System Engineering/Project management experience taking projects from initial concept through planning and implementation
* Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common network services such as DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP and troubleshooting
* Utilize enterprise tools to manage, monitor and secure large enterprise data center environments
* Strong analytic and research skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
* Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly resolve issues
* Communication and diplomatic skills a must
